Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: September 1, 2025
At East Coast Driving Academy Inc., we understand that plans can change. To ensure fairness for both our students and instructors, please review our cancellation and rescheduling policy below.
1. In-Car Driving Lessons
Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Students must provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an in-car driving lesson.
- Notice may be provided by phone or email during normal business hours.
Late Cancellation or No-Show
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, missed appointments, or failure to attend a scheduled lesson will result in the loss of that lesson without refund.
Pickup & Drop-Off Changes
- Pickup and drop-off locations should be confirmed at the time of booking.
- Requests to change pickup or drop-off locations after a lesson has been scheduled may only be accommodated where operationally possible and are subject to instructor approval.
- Additional travel charges may apply where applicable.
2. Online Courses
Students who wish to cancel an online course should refer to our Sales & Refund Policy, which outlines eligibility for refunds, administrative fees, and course access conditions.
3. Cancellations by East Coast Driving Academy
East Coast Driving Academy Inc. reserves the right to postpone or cancel lessons when necessary, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather or unsafe road conditions.
- Instructor illness or emergency.
- Vehicle breakdown or mechanical issues.
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If we cancel your lesson, it will be rescheduled at the earliest mutually available time at no additional cost.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unexpected situations can arise.
- Requests involving verified medical emergencies, family emergencies, or other exceptional circumstances may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of East Coast Driving Academy Inc.
- Supporting documentation may be requested where appropriate.
